Todd Langenmayr is a
native of Suffern, NY and currently lives in Mahwah, NJ with his
wife, Kristen, and their three children. Todd started the New York
Sharks in September 2003 with 38 athletes. By the end of the first
year, the team grew to 112 athletes. Today, the team has close to
200 swimmers. Throughout Todd’s short tenure as Head Coach of
New York Sharks, he has developed Metropolitan Record Holders,
multiple Speedo Sectional Qualifiers, multiple Junior National
Qualifiers, National qualifier, All-Americans, and numerous Top-16
in the nation qualifiers.
Todd’s personal coaching accomplishments
also include: Being voted the 2008-2009 Senior Coach of the year
for Metropolitan Swimming; being chosen to be a coach at the 2008
Eastern Zone Select Camp in Buffalo, New York; and was chosen
serveon the Metropolitan Swimming Senior Committee. Todd
currently works with the National Group

John Alaimo
Asst Age Group Coach - Senior

John Alaimo is a native of
Blauvelt, NY, where he currently lives. John is a 2009 graduate of
Vassar College with a B.A. in History and a concentration in US
Foreign Policy.
John’s athletic highlights include:
First Team All-Section 1 Swimming (2000-2005), was 2005 Section 1
Champion in 500 Freestyle and 200 Freestyle Relay, multiple-time
Speedo Sectional Qualifier and Finalist, Section 1 Captain at
Swimming and Diving State Championships 2005, serving as a two-time
captain for Vassar College Men’s Swimming and Diving, holds
seven school records at Vassar College, was a member of
Tappan Zee’s 2003 Cross Country Class B State Champion team,
2003 Cross Country Class B Section 1 Champion, 2004 Cross Country
Rockland County Champion, Two-time First Team All-Section Cross
Country, was a two-time Section 1 Champion Track and Field, was a
three-time Rockland County Champ for Track and Field, was a
two-time National Qualifier for Track and Field.
John has been coaching for the New York
Sharks since he graduated from Vassar in May 2009. Since then, he
has become a member of American Swimming Coaches Association (ASCA)
and served as a Metropolitan Zone Coach at the 2009 Eastern Zone
Long Course Championships. John is an Assistant Senior coach for
the New York Sharks and currently works with the Senior Group.
