NY Sharks Achieve Level 3 USA Club Recognition
|
The New York Sharks Aquatics becomes one of only five teams in Metropolitan, Connecticut and New Jersey Swimming to earn USA Swimming Level 3 Club Recognition Status! A big thanks to everyone, swimmers, parents, coaches and friends for their hard work and dedication!

Neuendorf Breaks 2 Records at Senior Mets
|
|
Congrats to Reed Neuendorf for breaking the 15-18 Boys 1000 and 1650 Freestyle records this weekend. Reed swam 9:50.44 and 16:24.03, respectively.
Thank you to all parents who volunteered to time and serve as meet marshall throughout the weekend!

6 N.Y. Sharks Swimmers achieve All-American status at Section 1 meet |
|
Congrats to Lance Neuendorf, Stanley Wong, Yong Jun and Jack Carey (ALL 4 athletes return next year) of Tappan Zee High School for acheiving All-America Automatic Status in the 200 Medley Relay at relay Prelims on Tuesday. The foursome swam to a 1:36.88, breaking the Tappan Zee and Rockland County records.
Congrats to Stanley Wong, Brendan Lavery, James Pacella and Jack Carey of Tappan Zee High School for acheiving All-America Consideration status in the 200 Freestyle Relay at relay prelims on Tuesday. The foursome swam to a 1:27.93, breaking the Tappan Zee, Rockland County and Section 1 records.
Congrats to all the fast individual swims at the individual prelims of the Section 1 Boys High School Championships on Monday. A special congrats to all those who qualified for the NY State Championships during Monday's prelims:

Team Records Fall Over Weekend |
|
Reed Neuendorf broke his own Team Record for 15-18 Boys 1650 yard Freestyle. Reed swam to a 16:31.10 at the Condors NCAA Format Invitational this past weekend. Congrats!
Congrats to everyone on fast swims - Sharks had multiple new Sectional qualifiers. We are up to 19 individual qualifiers for Sectionals. Lets keep adding to the list....
It's simple. Keep working hard. Keep swimming fast.

Congratulations to all high school athletes in Bergen and Rockland who competed at a championship meet over the weekend. NYSA athletes broke county records, meet records, 20 year-old school records, made All-America Consideration times, State Cuts, Sectional Cuts, and NCSA Junior National Cuts.
A special congratulations to all NYSA Rockland and Bergen County Individual Champions: Jack Carey, Ryan Magee, Stanley Wong, Reed Neuendorf, Lance Neuendorf. Also, congratulations to both Rockland and Bergen County NYSA swimmers that swam to a 1st place finish.
Excellent performances and let us continue to swim fast throughout the next eight weeks of Championship Season.
Finally, a well-deserved congratulations to the high school coaches on all your successes.

After this coming weekend's Junior Nationals and Rutgers Holiday Classic, we look to crack into the top-100! Parents Meetings
We are about to start week 3 of practice at SOMS and week 4 at RCC. I’m sure the questions are piling up. We would be hosting parent meetings this week for all groups at both locations. Please have your questions ready as we will be answering all questions.
